Some Stress-Free Living Tips
1. Anticipate the Best
There is a saying, "hope for the best, plan for the worst."
It's human nature to worry, but did you know that 90% of what we worry, fret and get bothered about does not happen. That's a lot of energy spent on negativity. Instead try to assume that things will work out, everything will be ok. Start expecting positive results and witness the positive changes you create around you.
2. Create a "What Went Right Today" list
Its easy to critique, complain and find fault but have you ever asked yourself the question, "What went right today?" Take today for instance, you woke up, you have clean running water, hydro is working - after all you are reading this newsletter on your computer, you had a meal to eat. Creating a 'what went right today ' list will change your perspective of life as you realize a lot of good things- even great things happen in your life every day!
3. Think C-A-L-M
The word "calm" not only means a peaceful state of mind. People who are calm have a quiet confidence, they appear unshakeable in the midst of turmoil, and they don't' sweat the small stuff. Here is a powerful acronym for C-A-L-M
C- is for Centered
A- is for Alive and Attentive. Be joyful for being alive
L- is for Light-Hearted. Laugh, Forgive, Don't be too serious.
M- is for Magical. Life is Gift- cherish and treasure every day.
